She talks about and supports things like fair rules for men and women, good education for everyone, and preventing sexual violence in India. The tragic Nirbhaya rape case in Delhi in 2012 had an impact on Trisha, prompting her to shift her focus away from pursuing wealth through traditional legal channels. She felt compelled to assist sexually abused women, who frequently remain silent due to societal pressures. Trisha and her sister Neha founded SheSays (shesays.com) because they saw a need for a platform to educate and empower these women about their legal rights.
This online portal aimed to give exploited women a voice, gaining attention and support from thousands of volunteers. Trisha’s commendable efforts have earned her the title of champion for women who face sexual molestation daily. The incident of mass molestation in Bangalore on 31 December 2016 highlighted the critical role that individuals like Trisha play in addressing such societal issues.
